Casa Dione - Chania Old City

Positive: Prime location in the hearth of all the action of the Chania Old town, 2 mins away by foot. Quiet street , but if any noise bothers you, double glazed windows are perfectly sealing away any otside noise. Spacious, very comfortable beds and pillows are premium, as any other amenity in the house. Central A/C will chill the whole house even to 15°C if you set it that low. The host is reachable at any time and will recommend better options for whatever trips/sightseeing you may want to visit, avoiding tourist traps. Very nice touch by host with welcome basket, greek honey, nimbles, tea, cofee pods for nespresso machine...Also few washing/drying machine pods and dishwasher tablets. Beach and shower towels are provided with small shower gels and shampoos. Would not recommend Nea Chora and city beach. Catch bus 21 (8-10 mins by foot), buy discounted tickets along your way at machine for €1.20 ( €2 in the bus) and enjoy Agi Apostoli , Sunset beach and Yanis beach. Set of 2 sunbeds and umbrella €20. Cleanest and our favourite was Yanis, if you like waves go to Apostoli. TL:DR very clean multi-storey house with all premium amenities in prime location. You just need your clothes and you're all set to enjoy this town and nearby beaches. Negative: The only drawdow was lack of access to rooftop terrace that is in the works of securing with fence when we were there, offers great views of the town.

Perfect apartment for two couples, having a lockbox always makes life easier when sharing Positive: Great apartment & location we really enjoyed exploring Chania Old Town, having a beautifully air-conditioned apartment to come home to for cool downs & a rest made all the difference! Negative: The steep stairs were the only thing I would change if I could but a small price to pay for such a lovely apartment.

Highly recommended Positive: Very well located in a quiet street of Old Town, but close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. This apartment has everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and very comfortable beds. You can spend incredible, relaxing time on the rooftop terrace. Karolina is a quick responding, helpful host. Negative: Everything was perfect.

Czysto, wygodnie, z pełnym wyposażeniem. Można przyjechać wyłącznie z plecakiem. Positive: Obiekt wygodny, czysty z tarasem na dachu. Po przyjeździe czekała na nas niespodzianka od gospodarzy. Gdy nie mogliśmy sobie poradzić z klimatyzacją, reakcja i przyjazd był natychmiastowy. Miejsce w samym centrum w okolicy parkingu bezpłatnego, co przy posiadaniu wynajętego samochodu było dużym udogodnieniem. Dobrze przemyślane wyposażenie mieszkania, a zwłaszcza kuchni. Polecam!!! The perfect place to stay when visiting Chania - I really hope to come back!! Positive: Casa Dioni is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The hosts are very helpful with providing all needed information and were also very responsive when I had questions. The house is perfect for two couples or a family with kids older than 8 or 10 ( fairly steep stairs). The beds are super comfortable and there are two full bathrooms. The amenities in the kitchen are absolutely amazing. If you don't want to go out every evening, you will find everything you need to cook. Plenty of pots and pans, plates and dishes, utensils, Nespresso coffee machine, Toaster, etc. There was even olive oil and vinegar, salt and other spices provided , and - what a treat - a dishwasher. The house also has a washing machine/dryer, which was great for me, as I travelled light. Even a few dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent tabs were provided. Payed parking is just a few minutes away and with the available App it is easy to navigate that even if you park for longer periods of time. I highly recommend Casa Dioni and as Chania is really a lovely place to visit, I hope I will be able to come back and stay here again. Negative: Nothing!!!
